Terms of Service
Effective date: September 15, 2025
Welcome to I Scoop Your Poop (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms explain how our pet waste removal service works and your responsibilities as a customer.
1) Service Area & Availability
We currently serve Erie County, NY. Service days/times are scheduled based on your location and plan frequency (once, twice, or three times per week).
2) Plans, Billing & Payments
- Plans renew weekly and are billed via Stripe using the payment method you provide at checkout.
- By subscribing, you authorize recurring weekly charges until you cancel.
- Invoices/receipts are emailed automatically by Stripe.
3) Cancellations & Changes
- You can cancel anytime through our Stripe Customer Portal (link provided at signup and on our site).
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no hidden fees or penalties.
- Plan changes (e.g., frequency) will apply to future billing cycles unless otherwise stated.
4) Customer Responsibilities
- Gate Access: Keep gates unlocked during your service window or provide a gate code/key in advance.
- Pets Indoors: For safety, pets must remain indoors or secured away from the service area during visits.
- Trash Bin: Ensure an outdoor bin is available for bagged waste disposal.
- Yard Conditions: Maintain safe, accessible grounds (clear hazards, debris, excessive overgrowth).
5) Missed Visits & Skips
- If we arrive and cannot safely access the yard (locked gate, pets outside, unsafe conditions), we will skip the visit and notify you.
- We’ll attempt to reschedule where possible; repeated access issues may result in a skip without credit.
6) Weather Policy
- We operate in normal rain/snow. During heavy snowfall, visits may be delayed and rescheduled.
- If severe conditions persist for multiple days and service cannot be completed, we will issue a reasonable credit or refund for the missed time.
7) One-Time Cleanings
We currently offer subscription plans only (once, twice, or three times per week). One-time cleanings are not offered.
8) Property & Liability
- We take care during service, but we are not responsible for damage caused by preexisting or unsafe conditions (e.g., broken fencing, aggressive animals, hidden hazards).
- We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages beyond the amount paid for the affected service period.
9) Photos & Quality Assurance
We may document visits (e.g., quick photos of cleanup areas) for training, quality control, and dispute resolution. These are not used for marketing without your consent.
10) Privacy
Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details.
11) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will always be posted here with a new effective date.
